Proenza Schouler Fall 201217/02/2012
The Proenza Schouler Fall 2012 runway showing as expected was nothing short of astounding, with the collection focusing on the idea of protection. Playing with proportion and meticulous detailing through their boxy jackets and pants, whether in stiff cotton or leather. Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough took us east saying of the collection "It's Asian, but in a New York way." Kimonos, oriental prints and embellishments were all inspirations, seen clearly in the incredible cocktails dresses and separates. It's the detail that makes this collection so special and the teams attention and precision is unsurpassed.
