I consider space to be a material. The articulation of space has come to take precedence over other concerns. I attempt to use sculptural form to make space distinct. – Richard Serra

The magazine is published by Casco – Office for Art, Design and Theory, with each issues addressing a reoccuring idea or issue from Casco’s program. Edited by Binna Choi and Axel Wieder Generous Structures explores the idea of "playfulness as a value in critical cultural practice."
