The Oyler House Documentary

10/12/2012

Directed by filmmaker Mike Dorsey, The Oyler House is a soon-to-be-released documentary that focuses on a house designed by the late modernist architect Richard Neutra. Built in 1959, The Oyler House is set amidst the stunning Long Pine desert of California and was a comparitively humble commission in relation to many of the architect's other projects. Featuring interviews with the original owner of the house, as well as with Neutra's sons and other notable figures, the film looks to provide insight into the work of the remarkable visionary behind its design. With a definitive release date in 2013 not yet set, the opening segment of The Oyler House is provided here as a teaser to whet our appetites for the finished film.
