Chinese artist Ai Weiwei has released the first single from a forthcoming six-song album with musician Zuoxiao Zuzhou. The track, titled, "Dumbass" is released with a provocative video that refers to Weiwei's time spent controversially incarcerated by Chinese authorities. The album, titled, The Divine Comedy, will be released on June 22 - the two-year anniversary of the artist's release from prison. Speaking with the New York Times, Weiwei said:

 

“It’s about the whole condition. It’s not really about me. I think it’s about how the power of the state tries to manage and maintain this kind of control...  Those soldiers secretly asked me about sex and about different things. They are like prisoners in there. They never can leave the building. And they don’t know what’s going on."
