Goulding Summerhouse by Scott Tallon Walker

15/11/2012

Originally designed for Sir Basil Goulding along the Dargle Valley, a great gardener and art collector, the summerhouse was listed for preservation in 2000 and architect Scott Tallon Walker was subsequently commissioned to restore it. Internationally, it is considered a modernist icon and continues to inspire with its recent inclusion in the design and architecture book ‘The Iconic House’ by Thames & Hudson.
