Renato Nicolodi 'Libido Moriendi'
16/11/2011'Libido Moriendi' is young Belgian artist Renato Nicolodi’s first solo exhibition in the United States. The architectonic prints and sculptures in this body of work detail Nicolodi’s formal investigation of that which is at once familiar and foreign. His distinctive architectural language draws the viewer’s attention not only across the smooth surfaces and clean lines of the monolithic sculptures, but also toward the act of perception itself.
