Ryan McGinley Short Film to Play in NYC Taxis
05/01/2013A 30-second section of the film Ryan McGinley made for Icelandic band Sigur Ros a while back will be played in New York taxis until February 5, 2013. The film will be shown as part of an initiative projected by Yvonne Force Villareal and Doren Remen, co-founders of the nonprofit Art Production Fund, who came up with the idea after seeking more compelling content to play on Taxi TV. Having spent a lot of time in New York taxis, they felt McGinley's film would be the perfect fit.
