Anthony Lister Interview
05/03/2012Australian born artist Anthony Lister has really made a strong impact on the art world in recent years embodying "the battles between hero's and villain's" with his work. Lister's unique aesthetic is derived from his early years in his native country and further evolution was shown with time spent in the States. Having shown his work in a large variety of cultures and spaces, it is this diversity and humble approach that makes Lister such a talent.

Kenzo Fall 2012
Kenzo Fall 2012
05/03/2012Kenzo have an ability to remind us that fashion is actually fun, and their second season showing was no different. The collection played with billowing, wide-leg pants, high cinched waists and plenty of volume in sleeves and skirts. Luscious metallics were effortlessly paired with fur, velvet, satin, wool and of course those Tiger print sweaters. Spanish art director Juan Gatti created the gorgeous fruit prints which were intentioned as a playful take on florals.

Frank Leder Interview
Here is a designer who really focuses on the unseen aspect of design, from researching a concept for a collection to sourcing the best materials that fit his ideas, to using the best factories to construct the garments. Having organically found his place in the market, this is defined by Leder's modest personality which shows through every aspect of the clothing he makes. What excites me about the label and the Spring/Summer 2012 collection is Leder's ability to reference, while maintaining his own identity.

Damir Doma Fall 2012
Damir Doma Fall 2012
01/03/2012Damir Doma described his Fall 2012 collection as "Modern Renaissance," with the designer making some quite obvious comments about the renaissance aspect, however overall presenting what I believed to be a very wearable collection. Of course we probably won't be seeing every woman in some of the statement pieces like the quilted leather tabard tomorrow, but as usual the tailoring was impeccable, the colour palette sumptuous and the play of volume and drapery was masterful.

She's performed with UNKLE, been shot by Testino, and was a key player in the dawn of the New Romantic movement in the 80s. Her iconic status has never dimmed. Today she speaks to Post New.
