A.P.C & Vanessa Seward

11/07/2012

It’s a coming together of perfectly French sensibilities – the nonchalant cool of A.P.C, with the sexy-chic designs of Vanessa Seward. Seward, formerly the creative director of Azzaro, has collaborated with A.P.C to produce a tightly edited, capsule collection of seriously covetable pieces. The collaboration maintains the timeless freshness at the core of the A.P.C brand, and the super-wear-ability of the line belies the fabric's couture origins. It’s laidback Parisian-glamour, and it’s going to be sold out very quickly.

Zebra Katz Interview

Introducing Zebra Katz

"Zeeeeeeeeeebra Fuckingggggggggg Katzzzzzzzzzzz" croons the vocoder at the start of ‘IMA READ’, right before the pulsing bassline and deliciously menacing vocals kick in on this year’s most addictive underground rap release. It’s a track that has earned co-signs from the likes of Questlove and Pharrell Williams, rocked the dancefloors of New York and the catwalks of Paris, and taken its creator Ojay Morgan from catering manager to fashion industry darling in just a few short months. But who exactly is Zebra Katz? POST NEW met him in London to find out.

Born in Los Angeles in 1987, Lynch moved to New York in 2006, where he has shown in numerous group shows across the United States. He opens his first solo exhibition on July 12th at Still House in Red Hook, Brooklyn. In this exhibition, Lynch's personal gesture reveals itself as a balancing act of ready-made objects. Tilted and stacked on top of one another, Lynch arranges ordinary objects into a polished display of form and color.

// DYLAN LYNCH: First Impressions runs July 12th - August 4th, 2012. Opening Reception: Thursday, July 12th, 7 - 9 pm

Damir Doma Paris Store

06/07/2012

Damir Doma opens his first Parisian boutique, sharing the same courtyard as Comme des Garcons. The truly incredible space designed by Australian architect Rodney Eggleston, perfectly captures the spirit of the brand through raw marble, starkly contrasting hues and a considered use of mirrors.
