Justin R. Saunders Recipe

19/04/2012

Justin R. Saunders is a curator, not a curator in the traditional sense, but as the founder and eye behind jjjjound.com he is the new face of how we view content and imagery, how we are inspired and what inspires us. A simple idea, but something that not just anyone could do...this isn't Tumblr or pinterest, this is jjjjound.com. We know Justin has taste so we asked him what he likes to taste for our latest recipe.

As you would expect from the team under the directorship of Humberto Leon and Carol Lim the video is fun, refreshing and takes the piss of our text and meme culture.

17/04/2012

Artist Dan Holdsworth presents a new exhibition entitled Transmission: New Remote Earth Views at Brancolini Grimaldi. This latest series sees Holdsworth appropriate topographical data in order to document spaces such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Mount Shasta, Mount St. Helens, Salt Lake City and Park City, selected due to being ideologically and politically loaded spaces.

Since beginning his own label in 2008, Todd Snyder has defined himself by the refined. The Iowa native spent time working at J.Crew before making the timely decision to step away independently and has not looked back, having been able to reach new heights. With the current Todd Snyder Spring/Summer 2012 collection one to really appreciate, I caught up with Snyder to talk about all things past, present, future.
