Bruce Nauman: One Hundred Fish Fountatin

The Gagosian Gallery is currently home to One Hundred Fish Fountain, a large scale sculpture by Bruce Nauman. Since the 1960s, Nauman's convention-challenging approach to an array of disciplines has seen him produce new methodologies for making art and meaning. Recurring themes in his work include body and selfhood, the role of language, spatial awareness and the relationship between artistic process and viewer participation.

Dr. Romanelli Interview

Reconstructed Geometry

Dr Romanelli is a name synonymous with reworking something classic and applying something unique to define it. No matter if it is vintage clothing, art, whatever the medium is the outcome is one to appreciate. Having worked with the likes of Nike, Converse, SOPHNET., Medicom Toy, each project Dr Romanelli works on is defined by the genuine individual who is dedicated and humble creates something to appreciate on many levels. I sat down with the doctor recently while the talented Clement Pascal captured the man in his office.

Barbara Kruger: BELIEF+DOUBT

06/08/2012

Bold graphics and towering text printed on vinyl occupy the lower-level lobby of the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum in a confronting colour scheme of red, white and black. The installation is “Belief+Doubt” by internationally renowned artist Barbara Kruger. Commissioned as a long-term piece, the site-specific work explores themes of power, money and faith, challenging viewers to do the same while resisting the temptations of ideological certainty.
