Juergen Teller: The Master

04/08/2012

In 2005, Steidl published a small booklet of Juergen Teller's work, titled, The Master. The publication offered an examination of his world and persona as a photographer with a mix of fashion and commissioned work, and has since become a benchmark in small book and zine design. Quickly going out of print, The Master II was published, and following that, The Master III, beginning a series of brilliant, affordable books, that will no doubt continue to be produced.

UNCONDITIONAL COMMITMENT TO SACRED LOVE

A solo exhibition by Matthew Stone

One minute he's composing music for his good friend Gareth Pugh's shows, the next he's shooting Riccardo Tisci for the cover of Dazed & Confused, not to mention last month's Zebra Katz showcase he hosted in Dalston, and he's making films. Having shown in various galleries and institutions worldwide, Matthew Stone is sending ripples through the artworld.

Studio Visit

Today we are invited into the working space of NYC-based artist, Tatiana Berg. A French-American citizen, Tatiana's adolescence encompassed a nomadic existence, living in various countries around the world, before settling in New York - a unique background which almost certainly manifests itself in her work. As a painter, she doesn't confine herself to the traditional wall-mounted canvas; her works are often more like scultpures. Her painting acts as a performance, and the finished work, an installation.
