One Second

By Clement Pascal

Kitsune as a label is defined by the 'new classic' and inspired by making clothes of the highest quality for everyday living. The French based label was born in the summer 2002 and with attention to quality of cloth and tailoring a vocal point, the label has thrived with a mature yet youthful aesthetic that also draws together the brands roots in music. With the recognizable pairing of Masaya Kuroki and Gildas Loaec providing the direction of Kitsune, the label has grown and evolved with great distinction over the past decade.

Dana Lee Interview

"Authentic Beauty"

Going beyond the conventions of typical fashion, Dana Lee has a unique vision for "authentic beauty" that she has built her label on and thrived from in recent years. Lee's journey began in Vancouver and has seen her cut samples and work on Christmas Day and internships in London and Helsinki, but these are all valuable lessons that all paid off for the now New York based designer. So often in the past menswear has complimented womenswear but that is not how Lee sees it, one of a new generation of women menswear designers changing the way us men dress.

Nike Flyknit

Nike are a sportswear company before anything else, unique in that their sole purpose is to create products which will enhance the performance of its athletes. The rewards of their absolute goal to innovate however are what we and its competitors look at and covet. Their ability to create products with talkability, their groundbreaking approach to marketing, the unique nature of their aesthetic design, and their relevance in the market and even wider culture. All of this however is merely a result of their efforts and talents in working to innovate.
