Alexander Wang opens in Beijing

19/05/2012

Alexander Wang has opened in Beijing this week, bringing the brand's full men's and women's collections along with Wang's recently launched object collection. The 565 sqm space is located in Sanlitun village, known as China's nucleus of high end fashion, and is spread over two levels with an emphasis on marble, bronze and glass. After opening in New York last year, this is Wang's second store and has been a collaborative effort between the designer and Paris based architect Joseph Dirand. The opening party, held in a carpark beneath the building, saw artists such as A$AP Rocky flown in to perform, and a packed crowd of A listers present to enjoy the show.
