How To Tell The Future From The Past is a group show currently on display at Haunch of Venison in New York, which looks at the role of progress and the idea that the human animal is resourceful and sophisticated but fundamentally incapable of bettering itself, across painting sculpture and video. Australian artist Patricia Piccinini's incredibly lifelike sculpture suggests the unwieldy relationship between what we are and what we want and explores the fears of modern society, including age.
