Surfing, Living and Working In New York

When it comes to making a positive impact from a cultural perspective it is hard to look beyond SATURDAYS. Since opening their doors in the summer of 2009 the retailer has developed into an established name far beyond its initial outlook. With surfing, living and working the cornerstone of the full fledged label, it is not hard to see how SATURDAYS have opened a new space in Tokyo with great success. No matter what your perception is of SATURDAYS, you can only appreciate their vision and values which make them a refreshing entity.

Beautiful words, beautiful images

I had always wondered why I was so drawn to Ami Sioux's work and after speaking with her I realized it is the joy and true passion she has for her work that truly demands your attention. Originally from California and currently based in Paris, Ami's incredible portraits and fashion work can be seen gracing the pages of Self Service, i-D magazine, Vogue Paris and the like. I was lucky enough to catch up with Ami for a chat to talk life, music, the photographic dance and her first two books Paris 48°49N and Reykjavik 64°08N.

Yuliy Gershinsky Interview

Futuristic Sterility

Up and coming Sydney-based designer Yuliy Gershinsky could just be the next big thing in menswear. Having recently graduated from East Sydney’s Fashion Design Studio, Gershinsky debuted his Capsule 2013 Collection at the Innovators Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia to a transcendental reception from critics and in-the-know fans alike. The capsule sees a refined palette of black, white and grey utilized to offer a minimal, sportswear-inspired collection that juxtaposes fine tailoring and fit against more boxy, loose fitting silhouettes.
