Metro Pictures presents a new Cindy Sherman exhibition, presenting large scale works depicting "outsized enigmatic female figures standing in striking isolation before ominous landscapes." Sherman created the works by photographing the landscapes and then manipulating them in photoshop to not only combine the photographs of her in costume but also achieve the painterly effect and obscure perspective in the works. The series was developed from an insert Sherman created for Pop magazine using clothing from the Chanel archive. This incredible exhibition opens on April 28th running through to June 9th.
