Save David Wright House Petition

23/08/2012

One of Frank Lloyd Wright’s more unusual architectural accomplishments, the David Wright House (designed for his son), is at risk of demolition by developers. Once described as “one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most innovative, unusual and personal works of architecture”, the house is an insight into the architect's development. Its circular spiral plan, concrete-block detailing and interior design all make this one of Wright's most remarkable works.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy has awarded a temporary demo delay while the City of Phoenix decides whether to bestow historic preservation and landmark designation upon the house. An online petition to the City of Phoenix has been set-up to help with the cause.
