Juergen Teller: Woo

07/01/2013

A new show at London's Institute of Contemporary Arts showcasing photography by Juergen Teller opens on 23 January 2013.

A range of Teller's work will be presented, from his fashion and commercial photography of the '90s, to more recent landscapes and family portraits. The show will also feature letters of complaint received by German newspaper Die Zeit in response to 'On the Road with Juergen Teller', a column in their weekly magazine that provoked outrange amongst many of the paper's readers (the letters and offending images can also be found in Teller's book Pictures and Words).

Teller's most recent bodies of work Irene im Wald and Keys to the House document the artist's family life in his German hometown near Nuremberg (featuring photographs of his mother, Irene) and in Suffolk, where he also has a home. Works from both of these series will be featured in the how, which runs from 23 January to 17 March 2013. Admission is free.
