The Hole opened XTRACTION, its major survey of new approaches in abstraction at the start of May, exhibiting work from nearly forty innovators in the field. While we previewed the show last month, here's a closer look at some of the works, courtesy of Arrested Motion.

 

XSTRACTION will be documented (along with the two previous Deitch Projects exhibitions) in a new “encyclopedia” of abstraction printed by Anteism Books, available on the gallery website now and in bookshops this fall. The exhibition runs until June 20, 2013.
